I have found Alexis to be approachable on both a professional and personal level. When I’ve encountered children in my class who were having difficulties at home, I found her advice invaluable. She gave me insights into how a child might be feeling but also outlined practical strategies that I could use and more importantly that the child could use. Alexis has acquired a tremendous knowledge and skill set from the work she does with children, parents, teachers, and various agencies. She is extremely good at listening without judging the other person. Alexis is a practical person who likes to find solutions to problems and her ‘can-do’ attitude is inspiring to others. She is also extremely perceptive when it comes to understanding a person’s character. But most of all people feel really comfortable talking to her and this is because of the manner in which she engages with others.
